Have you ever thought about making your own fabric?

In this class we will discuss tint, tone, shade, value and scale to take your tiniest scraps and turn them into one-of-a-kind textiles.

Brita's simple, organized method for assembling your curated crumbs results in fabric that is part planned, part free-form and totally fun!

During the workshop you will use this new fabric to make a simple tulip block, but once you master this technique, there is no limit to what you can create.

Pattern:

The workshop fee includes the tulip block pattern.  A link to the pattern will be provided in the reminder emails which will be sent shortly before the workshop.

About Brita:

Brita is an award-winning quilt artist and teacher with over 30 years experience. In her previous life she was a chemical engineer and has brought that passion for knowledge and improvement into her quilting endeavors. Brita loves sharing about what she has learned by wriing, speaking, demonstrating and teaching.

Registration

• Members: log into your account on AQG's website to register for this event.  Class fee for members is $28
• Public can join as a Member for the Day for $38

Registration ends  5 days before the workshop

 Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellations must be made online (no emails).
• Cancellations 5 day (or more) before the scheduled event will receive an account credit.  The credit can be used for future AQG events.
• Cancellations less that 5 days before the event are not eligible for a credit.
  
• Refunds are not offered.
