Starting with Silk

This workshop will allow one to expand their horizons and work with silk.  Julia will show how to use silk fabrics to quilt.  Students will learn how to identify and distinguish fabrics.  They will also be taught the best fusible stabilizers.   Come and join as to learn an improvisational crazy piecing method plus a fabric foundation piecing class. Each student will draft a simple muslin foundation.  

Students can provide their own fabric. A $35 kit with fabrics and stabilizers is available by contacting Julia at juliamcleodquilts@gmail.com

Registration

• Members: log into your account on AQG's website to register for this event.  Class fee for members is $40
• Public can join as a Member for the Day for a $50 fee

Registration ends June 14, 2023 (3 days before)

 Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellations must be made online (no emails).
• Cancellations 5 day (or more) before the scheduled event will receive an account credit.  The credit can be used for future AQG events.
• Cancellations less that 5 days before the event are not eligible for a credit.
  
• Refunds are not offered.
