7:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Arizona Time)

In this lecture, we’ll take a fresh look at unexpected modernism in quilts made long before the Modern Quilt Movement began. From the early 1800s through the 1980s, we’ll explore quilts that echo many of the design elements we now associate with the modern aesthetic. This conversation invites us to uncover the deep roots of our collective quilting journey—and to swoon over some tantalizingly modern antique quilts along the way.
